While we may not always agree and I may not achieve all the goals that I set out to accomplish on your behalf, you can be assured of one thing, I will always strive to put the welfare of all Iowans before partisan politics and personal ambition.
As a Noncommissioned Officer in the United States Army, I always tried to live up to the NCO Creed Noncommissioned Officers Creed. Even today as a civilian the creed serves as a guide for me in a number of ways, and the above pledge is in part inspired by it.
